Global Late Fee Posting

Global Late Fee Posting: This screen allows you to set up your late fees a number of ways, but it assumes that all of your tenants get charged the same way.  If you have different late fee charges per tenants, you can set the individual late fees by using the options below.

How do you charge your late fees? Do you have a fixed charge? A percentage? A grace period? The Tenant File can handle all of those options plus a lot more. You can even charge a fixed charge PLUS a percentage, add a per day charge (fixed or percentage), and use any grace period that you wish.

You can set a minimum and maximum charge and base the charge on other criteria. If you want to see each late fee about to be charged and make any changes on the 'fly', you can do that, or you can post them all automatically in seconds.

Once you enter the way you charge your late fees, your entries will be saved, so that whenever you come to this screen to charge late fees, you'll only need to click one button.

Individual Tenant Late Fee Setup

When you charge Late Fees individually, you can set up to 4 days of the month that you want the program to look for late fees due, or you can have the Tenant File check once each day the first time that you enter the program.

At any time you can view or post the current late fees due, by clicking on the 'Check or Charge Late Fees Now' button.

When your late fees are displayed, you will see this screen, and can choose which late fees to post.
